2020 Happenings for Donors

CFA donors and anyone interested in learning more about CFA opportunities, mark your calendars for these key dates below, and keep an eye on your mailboxes and inboxes for more information as we get closer to these dates. Make sure you're on our email list so you don't miss out!

Late January - grant catalog for Future Fund grant cycle. Donors can make a gift or donor-advised fund grant to support nonprofit grant applicants serving children and youth.
February 3 - Investment Forum featuring updates on market performance and fund investment strategies.
March and October - spring and fall discretionary grant cycles; opportunities to support nonprofit applicants serving a range of local causes.
- March 25 and October 28 - Lunch-and-learn events to learn about grantmaking opportunities.
May 5 - 24-hour day of giving to support local nonprofits at abilenegives.org.
August or September - Friends of the Community Foundation annual gathering.
Early October - grant catalog for fall discretionary grant cycle. Donors can make a gift or donor-advised grant to support nonprofit grant applicants.
November - Holiday giving guide and annual luncheon.
- By late Nov: holiday giving guide featuring nonprofit wish lists.
- November 12: CFA Annual Luncheon, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Abilene Convention Center.
