Enjoy four family-friendly days of fun at the 14th Children's Art + Literacy Festival in downtown Abilene at 17 venues presented by the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council.
Celebrate "The Art of Winnie-the-Pooh" first illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard and written into life by A.A. Milne. The National Center for Children's Illustrated Literature will host a special exhibition exploring the world of Winnie and his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods.
We will open the new Clear Fork Bank Storybook Garden with eight bronze sculptures Thursday night. Thursday events are free. Friday and Saturday events require a pass for everyone 3 and older.
Wear your CALF pass on Sunday and enter the Abilene Zoo for free for additional festival programming and animal encounters!
