The Cason Grant “Wild at Heart” Memorial Scholarship

Cason’s four passions in life were his faith, his family, playing football and being a cowboy. Cason lived his life to the fullest, brought joy and laughter to every room that he walked into, and his faith walk is best summarized by the book written by John Eldridge, “Wild At Heart”. 

He pursued his dream of playing college football at Mississippi State and The University of Oklahoma. After a career ending injury, the Lord allowed Cason to fulfill his lifelong dream of working on a cattle ranch in Douglas, Wyoming. 

Scholarships will be made from this fund each year to carry on Cason's legacy of impacting others. 

Eligibility

• Plan to attend any accredited 2- or 4-year institution, or accredited vocational/trade school 
• Graduating senior from Wylie High School 
• Participated in an extracurricular activity or church youth group while in high school
