Robert Macario Ybarra Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Robert Macario Ybarra. Robert was a 2020 graduate of Hawley High School. He was full of passion and a fire that made it amazing to watch, especially in baseball. He was offered a spot on the Wayland Baptist University baseball team. He chose not to attend for financial reasons. Our hope is that another student doesn’t have to make that choice due to finances. 

Eligibility

• Students from a 19-county area – Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels and Scurry 
• Participated in Varsity Sports junior and senior years
