Lee & Burchell Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Sherry Lee Burchell in loving memory of her parents, whose lives were touched by Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. Inspired by the compassionate care they received, she sought to honor their legacy by supporting future nurses who embody empathy, resilience, and dedication to patient care.

Through this scholarship, she hopes to ease the financial burden for nursing students pursuing their RN degrees. Her gift reflects a deep appreciation for the nursing profession and a heartfelt commitment to improving the lives of others through education and compassionate healthcare.

Eligibility

• A graduate from the Cisco College Nursing Bridge Program moving on to Nursing School to attain their RN designation;
• Applicants who exhibit a financial need;
• Applicants must submit an essay describing how receiving this scholarship would make a difference in their life as a nursing student and support their commitment to providing quality, compassionate patient care.
