Dr. and Mrs. L.M. Bayouth Memorial Scholarship

Dr. LaNoard Murad Bayouth, Sr. and Mrs. Lynda "Kay" Bayouth met on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend. They married on March 6, 1960, and were married for fifty-four years.

Dr. and Mrs. Bayouth diligently taught their children the importance and rewards of perseverance and dedication to God, school, community, and philanthropy.

In the early 1970s, they purposefully chose to raise their family in Stamford, Texas, a small community with traditional, small-town values.

The Bayouth children established this scholarship to honor their parents and memorialize their beliefs through continuing investment in their hometown's future by awarding the individual who best exemplifies these qualities.
