James Pernell Hopper was born on August 30, 1969, to Loyd and Edwina Hopper. James attended school at Talpa-Centennial (which later became part of Panther Creek I.S.D.). He participated in sports, particularly football, basketball, and track throughout elementary, junior high, and high school and received All-State Alternate in football his senior year. He was also involved in U.I.L. One Act plays where he received “Honorable Mention All-Star Cast” as a sophomore. He was an active member of 4-H for seven years, participating in several projects including trapshooting, in which he earned many awards.
Eligibility
- Graduating senior from Panther Creek and have been enrolled for the past two years
- Planning to attend a college or accredited vocational/technical institution in the United States
