COVID-19 Relief: Donors Give $173k to Support Abilene

April 21, 2020

Abilene has stepped up again in time of need. Donors contributed more than $173,000 to meet local needs through the Community Foundation of Abilene's (CFA) Support Abilene effort.

CFA provided a list of nonprofit needs in a public grant catalog. Many donations were designated to support specific needs, and others were general gifts allocated by a CFA grant committee. CFA donor-advised fundholders also recommended grants from their funds to support nonprofit needs.
